Rio, WE have arrived.

In the words of one of my favourite artists, Beverly Knight, I made it back. Well made it back to Brazil anyway.

The flight was just long enough for Baiana and I to meet some amazing people and the weather in Rio, well lets just say that perfection has a hard time describing this place.

I am glad I brought Baiana home, but I too am glad I have come "home"...

Feeling a little snowed in...

Baiana is feeling a little snowed under...

Like the cough that I have had for sometime now, Baiana is feeling a little snowed under with everything, figuratively and as of today, literally. Guess Atlanta and Mississippi won't be happening after all...

Baiana gets Central... Central Park that is.

There is nothing better than getting out in the cold weather and taking a stroll, especially if you are underdressed and from a warm climate like Brasil or Australia. So, that's exactly what Baiana and I did, took a stroll through Central Park half dressed...

Baiana the Bridesmaid...

Baiana found herself getting quite emotional on her last night in Vegas, reliving the wedding of Garth and Kylie. She really enjoyed being one of the bridesmaids too...

Happy New Year from Las Vagas, Baiana style!

It' New Years eve in Las Vegas and what better way for Baiana to see it, than by sitting in a cab as we reminisce about Caesars Palace, home to Celine Dion and watch drunk people on the street pass us by... Happy New Year!

Tschau Sydney!

Baiana decided that it was well and truly time to check out. So she did, and checked right on out of Sydney airport. First stop, the "soul" of Asia, Seoul, Korea...

Baiana and some Christmas sparkle...

It's the second to last night for Baiana in Sydney, so on Christmas eve a quick stop was made to take in the grandeur of the sparkling Christmas tree in Sydney's Queen Victoria Building...

Shopping fit for a Queen or two...

Driving through George Street in the heart of Sydney, Baiana noticed a beautiful building that must be well over a hundred years with shopping fit for a Queen, The Queen Victoria Building...

The streets were packed today in Sydney city, especially George Street. Luckily Baiana and I had the gorgeous Tash and her car to get us through the chaos...

Visa, done.

Baiana and I needed to collect that thing we call a visa in order to return to Brazil, luckily the wait was not long...

And after we saw the Sydney Opera House, Baiana couldn't resist one last picture under the Harbour Bridge. Brazil just seems that little bit closer now...

Baiana and I just had to do the tourist thing before we leave this beautiful city on the harbour and tonight, well, this is what we got...
